Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: October 2025Welcome to Crown & Pusher. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the supply of watch servicing, repairs, and restoration services by Crown & Pusher, a division of Luxe Corporation Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the Customer", "you").
By booking a service, requesting a postage pack, or sending your watch to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Definitions & Service Scope
1.1 "Service" refers to any repair, maintenance, refurbishment, or inspection work carried out on a timepiece by our watchmakers.
1.2 "Goods" refers to the watch(es) and any associated parts sent to us by you.
1.3 We act as an independent service center. While we follow manufacturer standards for brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, and others, we are an independent entity and not an authorized affiliate of these manufacturers unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Estimates & Contracts
2.1 Inspection & Quote
Upon receipt of your watch, we will carry out a comprehensive inspection. We will then provide you with a detailed estimate (Quote) for the necessary work. This Quote is valid for 30 days.
2.2 Formation of Contract
No contract exists between you and us until you have formally accepted the Quote and instructed us to proceed. If you decline the Quote, we will return the watch to you. We reserve the right to charge a nominal fee for return postage and insurance if no work is undertaken.
2.3 Additional Work
If, during the repair process, we discover additional faults that were not apparent during the initial inspection, we will suspend work and contact you with a revised estimate. We will not proceed with additional work without your express consent.
3. Postage & Insurance
3.1 Secure Postage Pack
We provide a free, pre-paid secure postage pack for customers within the United Kingdom. It is your responsibility to pack the watch securely according to the instructions provided.
3.2 Transit Insurance
Watches sent using our provided secure postage pack are insured against loss or damage in transit up to a maximum value of £25,000. This insurance is subject to the watch being packed correctly and dropped off at an authorized courier point with a receipt obtained.
For watches valued above £25,000, you must notify us in advance so we can arrange enhanced cover. We accept no liability for items sent to us via methods other than our approved courier service.
4. Turnaround Times
4.1 Any turnaround times quoted (e.g., "14 days", "6 weeks") are estimates only and are not of the essence of the contract. Complex repairs, vintage restoration, or sourcing of rare parts may require significantly longer periods.
4.2 We shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from a delay in the completion of the work.
5. Warranty
5.1 12-Month Service Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on all full servicing and major repair work. This warranty covers:
- The mechanical functioning of the movement.
- Workmanship defects related to the specific repairs carried out.
5.2 Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches to the case/bracelet after return).
- Damage caused by accidents, shocks, drops, or mishandling.
- Water damage, unless the watch was pressure tested by us and passed, and you have adhered to the manufacturer's water resistance guidelines.
- Damage to glass/crystal or straps/bracelets.
- Any intervention or repair attempted by a third party (including the customer) which voids our warranty immediately.
6. Payment & Uncollected Goods
6.1 Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of the work and prior to the return of the watch. We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers. We do not release goods until funds have cleared.
6.2 Lien & Uncollected Goods
We exercise a "general lien" over your goods until all monies due are paid. If a watch remains uncollected or unpaid for a period of 6 months after we have notified you that the work is complete, we reserve the right to sell the goods to recover our costs, in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you prior to taking this action.
7. Liability
7.1 Our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with the contract, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed the replacement value of the watch (up to the insured limit agreed) or the cost of the repair, whichever is applicable.
7.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.
8. Cancellations & Returns
8.1 You have the right to cancel your instruction at any time before the work has commenced. If work has already commenced or parts have been ordered specifically for your watch, you will be liable for the costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
8.2 As the contract is for a bespoke service (repair), the standard "Right to Cancel" under Consumer Contracts Regulations ceases once the service has been fully performed.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
